Brad Radke(1-2) finally bested his California opposite, Greg Maddux(3-3), by the score of 3 to 1. Langley scored 2 runs in the 4th inning when they had 4 base hits. They would be enough to earn the win. The pitchers took over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again. Radke got relief help from Eddie Guardado who gained credit for his 3rd save. Maddux was the loser. He surrendered 6 hits and no walks in 7 innings.
